City of London police aims at the professions
Accountants are among the professionals that could be targeted by a New Year
campaign against middle-class fraud.
The Mail on Sunday quotes Stephen Head, chief superintendent of the
City of London Police economic crime department saying that fraud by accountant,
lawyerd and bankers does “damage to the integrity of the whole system”.
Head is reported saying he wanted to concentrate on big fraudsters instead of
chasing small fry.
