Profits warning signals end for Maxima FD

IT company loses finance director in wake of issuing fourth quarter performace forecast

The finance director of IT services firm Maxima has tended his resignation just than two weeks after issuing a profits warning.

John Taylor has been in the post less than a year, and leaves the company at the end of May to commence his appointment at another quoted company, according to sharecast.com

Taylor assumed the role in May 2008 from Linda Andrews.

A company statement released on 18 March said that although trading in the company's third quarter has been in line with expectations, they now expect a drop in fourth quarter performance.
