Advisers inundate Sage over VAT change

Sage takes over 100 calls within an hour of opening after the pre-Budget report VAT announcements

Written by Rachael Singh

Sage took over 100 calls to its support line within an hour of opening on Tuesday, the day after the pre-Budget report announced a 13 month amendment to VAT.

The VAT percentage change saw the software company's Accountants' Club Priority support line inundated with calls as accountants battling to make the four day deadline of changing the percentage from 17.5% to 15%.
