Tax revenues coming from the financial sector to nosedive by 35% says Chancellor

Corporate tax revenues from the financial services sector are set to plummet by 35%, Alistair Darling has said.

The Chancellor said that the UK could expect lower tax revenues ' both now and in the medium term in the wake of the 'unprecedented global financial crisis.'
