Ernst & Young has appointed Wendy Fenwick as its new global oil and gas leader.

We are looking forward to helping our international clients with solutions to these challenges to support their ongoing commitment to and investment in the oil and gas sector,' Fenwick said.

Starting with BP, she has spent her entire career in the oil and gas sector advising oil companies on corporate restructurings and other areas.

Fenwick is also on the advisory board of Positive Energy – the global leadership network for women in the oil and gas sector.

She succeeds Rob Jessen, who will continue to lead on major client accounts in the sector, the firm said.
