Lewis Hamilton has said he will remain a tax exile in Switzerland after becoming the youngest Formula One champion at the weekend.

Hamilton, who is from Hertfordshire, said he would continue to live in Switzerland 'for the moment', the Daily Mail reported, in a decision that will cut his tax bills by at an estimated £4m-plus a year.

His decision to remain a tax exile disappointed fans to a BBC Radio Five Live phone-who complained that Hamilton's triumph was sullied by his decision last year to move abroad.
