Stag, hen and corporate breaks away company collapses

A Bristol travel company has collapsed due to amounts debts worth an estimated £300,000 to £500,000.

Brilliant Weekends a company that specialises in stag and hen dos started up six years ago and has blamed its downfall on sterling weakening against the euro and the credit crunch the Bristol Evening Post reported.

Richard Denny's, the owner and managing director would not confirm how many creditors were owed money and the company has not appointed any external administrators or recovery specialists. Denny's is currently struggling to find other companies to take on the already booked packages.

Denny's said: We are desperately sorry for the distress and inconvenience that this will cause. I want to apologise sincerely to customers and staff and assure them that we are doing our best to resolve the situation.'
