5 Star join the Iris portfolio to focus on Iris Exchequer
Iris has announced its acquisition of 5 Star Computer Systems Limited, a
reseller of financial management software solutions to mid-sized organisations.
5 Star, which already has a partnership with Iris, is based in Kent and will
join the Iris Accounting and Business Solutions Division, which comprises of the
mid-market ERP systems.
The founders Andrew and Graeme Clark will continue with the company handover
and will focus on reselling Iris Exchequer.
Stuart Dawson, managing director of IRIS Accounting and Business Solutions
said he is delighted that 5 Star is joining forces with IRIS since it has been
the number one reseller of IRIS Exchequer for several years, in addition to
being a valued business partner since 1999.
‘Their expertise in the implementation, support and bespoke development of
the Exchequer product will be invaluable moving forward. Customers are already
benefiting from the expansion of the IRIS Group allowing them to implement fully
integrated specialist systems from a single vendor with Exchequer at the heart
of the system,’ said Dawson.
