Liverpool-based brewery and pub company Cains, which was placed in the hands of administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) last week, could have a buyer rescuing the business as early as next week.
PwC joint administrators David Chubb, Ian Green and Craig Livesey have been quick to speak to key suppliers, putting the brewery back in production within three days, while its 109 pubs, of which seven are tenanted and 102 managed, were also able to keep trading, according to thePublican.
