The overtime issue has hit several Canadian firms and companies, with PwC announcing its own settlement with staff even without being sued.

Justice Paul Perrell of the Ontario Superior Court approved the proposed KPMG settlement last week, the paper reported.

KPMG initially prepared a redress plan, cutting out the lawyers, but was forced back into a legal process in the end.
