KPMG has settled an overtime lawsuit in Canada, understood to have cost the
firm CAN$10m (£4.9m).
The
National Post reported that the firm had settled the class action, brought
by litigation firm Juroviesky and Ricci and the employment law firm Ball and
Alexander.
The overtime issue has hit several Canadian firms and companies, with PwC

Justice Paul Perrell of the Ontario Superior Court approved the proposed KPMG
settlement last week, the paper reported.
KPMG initially prepared a redress plan, cutting out the lawyers, but was
forced back into a legal process in the end.
