KPMG called in as Wrapit wraps up

Online wedding list company turns to KPMG after serious financial difficulties force the business to cease trading

Written by David Jetuah

Partners from KPMG have been called in to find a buyer for a struggling wedding list business which may not be able to honour orders placed by its customers.

After Jane Moriarty and Myles Halley were appointed administrators of Wrapit, KPMG also set up a hotline for customers who believe they may still be owed money.

The online wedding list service has been struggling for some time and recently encountered severe financial difficulties.

Moriarty said: 'Despite the directors’ best efforts to secure a rescue deal, they were left with no alternative but to cease trading the business with immediate effect and to put it into administration. We are seeking a buyer for the business and its assets, albeit for a limited period.'

Customers who believe they may be owed money should call 0844 770 1301.
