Property and development group Terrace Hill has named Jon Austen as its new finance director.

Austen joins from the Goodman Group, where he was CFO for the UK.
Following Austen's appointment, current group FD Tom Walsh will step down on 1 September to serve as deputy FD.

'Terrace Hill is at an exciting stage in its evolution, with its £1.2 billion development and investment programme offering considerable potential to drive growth and create value for our shareholders,' said executive chairman Robert Adair.

'We are, therefore, delighted to be further strengthening our senior management team through Jon's appointment and we are confident that we will benefit greatly from his strong sector expertise which covers all aspects of the commercial property investment and development market.'

Austen has also held senior roles at Arlington Securities, which was acquired by Goodman Group, and Pricoa.
