PwC has announced the appointment of 80 new partners.
The new partners comprise the appointment of 58 new partners from July 1st, and 22 new partners recruited externally during the last year.
29% of the new partners are female, bringing the total number of female partners to 107. According to the latest Accountancy Age Top 50 survey, the firm has a total of 822 partners.
The new partners span all areas of the firm’s businesses and regions with 29 partners admitted to the assurance practice, 26 partners to the advisory practice and 25 to the tax practice.
The firm said the number of female partners was now the highest number in the ten year history of the UK firm, formed when Coopers and Lybrand merged with Price Waterhouse in 1998.
