Green dream: masters of swing head to Ireland

UHY Hacker Young to represent profession in City Golf Championships after winning Accountancy Age Masters tournament

Written by damian wild

A team from UHY Hacker Young will represent the profession at this year’s City Golf Championships in Ireland after winning last week’s Accountancy Age Masters.

On a day that saw two holes in one at the Addington Golf Club in Croydon, Marc Waterman, Rick Mitchell, Jeremy Lichenfeld and Stuart Russell tamed a tough course to win.

As part of their prize they will travel to the Carton House Hotel & Golf Club in County Kildare to battle other professionals for one of the biggest prizes in corporate golf.

Individually, it was Alan Tomlinson of Tomlinsons and Alan Lovett of Baker Tilly who grabbed the limelight after each hit a hole in one. Teams from Deloitte and Lombard took second and third place.
