Sarah Evans joins HICL

Sarah Evans joins HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited as non-executive director.

HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited (HICL) has recruited Sarah Evans as non-executive director.

Evans previously spent six years at Barclays Bank in various roles including treasury director, responsible for the securitisation of the banks assets, and finance director of Barclays Mercantile, a subsidiary providing large and middle ticket leasing finance, Investegate reported.

The qualified accountant ran her own consultancy business advising clients on all aspects of securitisation, and prior to that worked at Kleinwort Benson, the financial services provider for six years latterly as group head of finance.

Graham Picken, Chairman of the Company said: 'I am very pleased to welcome Sarah to the Board. I am sure her extensive experience will strengthen the Board and aid the Company as we continue to grow.'

Evans is currently a member of the Institute of Directors and is a director for both; Japan Leisure Hotels Limited and Crystal Amber Limied both investment companies. She is also director for two hedge funds.
