Written by Barbara Buchanan

Tenon has appointed John Newman as a non-executive director of the company.

He has a 36-year career history in financial services culminating in group sales director of wealth management firm St James's Place Capital. Prior to that, he held the same position at J Rothschild Assurance for nine years.

‘He has very relevant experience and we believe he can make a significant contribution to many areas of the business as a non-executive director. We are delighted to welcome him to the board,’ said chairman, Bob Morton.

Newman has held directorships in the last five years with St James's Place Capital, The Clear Cut Mortgage Company Limited and Morgan Gray Limited.
