Hunting snaffles Rose as FD

International energy services company promotes financial controller to the finance throne after 11 years at the company

Hunting Plc has appointed Peter Rose as its new finance chief today.

Rose, a chartered accountant, joined the FTSE250 company as financial controller in 1997, but he has now been promoted to the top finance job after Dennis Clark officially retired today.

Rose previously held senior financial positions with Babcock International after
joining from PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Dennis Proctor, chief executive of Hunting said: 'We are delighted to announce Peter's appointment as Finance Director, his in-depth knowledge of the business gained at a senior level will be vital as we continue to grow through our sound positioning in a strong and growing marketplace.'
