Change of guard at KPMG's consumer practice

KPMG has secured Pat Dolan to head its consumer markets practice

Written by AccountancyAge.com

KPMG has secured Pat Dolan to head the firm's consumer markets practice and become US sector leader – food, drink and consumer goods.

Dolan, who started his career with Arthur Andersen 30 years ago, will be based in Chicago to lead the firm's consumer markets line of business, strengthening the firm's brand, and working with KPMG partners and professionals across the US.

Bruce Piller, managing partner of KPMG's Chicago office, said Dolan was a recognised leader in serving consumer markets businesses.

Dolan was a senior vice president at BearingPoint where he created and managed a middle market consumer and industrial markets segment. Most recently, he held the position of corporate vice president of operations at a privately held distribution company in Chicago.
