Former Superdrug and Savers finance director, Neil Page has taken the top finance role at floor coverings retailer Carpetright.
Page has spent the last 17 years at AS Watson whose retail brands include Superdrug, latterly as finance and IT director.
He brings vast experience in the consumer and retail industry, having spent, prior to AS Watson, two years at Marks & Spencer and a stint before that at British Rail.
Page replaces Ian Kenyon, who it was announced in February this year, would step down from his role and take on the chief financial officer post at the retail and distribution arm of Carphone Warehouse. At the time of the announcement, Carpetright sales had dropped 4% in like-for-like sales.
