Hearings against four investment banks over their role during the collapse of Parmalat in 2003 have been postponed to March 7.
Lawyers for the banks denied the charges against them yesterday as they entered court, but the full trial will not take place until March in order to address some preliminary questions raised, news agencies reported.
The banks – Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and UBS – have been accused of withholding information on Parmalat's problems.
