Greencore, the food group, has appointed Geoff Doherty as CFO.
Doherty will also be chief executive of the property and agribusiness group at the company, the group said in a Stock Exchange statement.
He takes over from Patrick Coveney, who is to become chief executive.
Doherty, 36, joined Greencore in 2001 as group financial controller and is a
chartered accountant.
'I am absolutely delighted that Geoff will be the new CFO of Greencore and that he will also continue to lead our property agenda," said Patrick Coveney.
'Geoff is already a key leader in our business and has played a central role in shaping the business and culture that we have to-day. He brings highly relevant experience, insight, passion and tremendous energy to the new role. In this context a seamless transfer of responsibilities will be easy to achieve.'
