St Katharine's Dock move for UHY Hacker Young

Firm relocates from Moorgate to more modern premises to support growth

Written by Nicholas Neveling

UHY Hacker Young is relocating to new offices at St Katharine’s Dock from St Alphage House in Moorgate.

The firm has been in Moorgate since the 1960s, but is now set to pass on the property to JP Morgan as the area is becoming prime territory for investment banks.

Ladislav Hornan, UHY Hacker Young managing partner, said the new premises would offer 'a much more contemporary working environment and enjoyable views over Tower Bridge in this great location'.

Several other accounting firms have recently launched relocation plans. BDO Stoy Hayward is moving into new offices on Baker Street and Mazars has new office space on Tower Bridge.

PricewaterhouseCoopers, meanwhile, is planning to locate 6000 staff into new office space in the More London development by 2010.
