Hotston Moore, who joined Mazars in April this year, was until then managing partner of Moores Rowland, and the only female managing partner within the Top 50 UK accountancy firms.

Apart from heading up Mazars' media practice sector, she is also lead partner for the firm's owner-managed business service line in the London region.

The judges said that Hotston Moore not only beat feisty competitors from other firms but was also noted for her contribution in helping other women in the profession.
