KPMG global revenues surge by 17.4%
KPMG global earnings on the brink of breaking $20bn (£9.6bn) threshold
KPMG global today unveiled revenues of $19.8bn (£9.56bn) for the year ended
30 September 2007; a 17.4% increase on the previous year.
Growth was generated across all service lines and geographies, with the Far
East showing particularly well.
Audit increased 13.3% to $9.3bn. Advisory services experienced growth in all
regions and grew fastest at 22.2% to $6.43bn as the firm cashed in on M&A
activity. Combined revenues for tax services grew 20% to $3.99bn.
All the regions where the firm operates also showed double-digit growth.
‘The globalisation of the world’s economy, the dynamic regulatory environment
and the market pressure on companies to transform themselves all contributed to
increased demand for KPMG’s services,’ said KPMG International chairman Timothy
Flynn.
