UK Sport begins search for an FD

UK Sport, the body looking to create future British sporting champions, needs a finance director

Written by Kevin Reed

UK Sport is looking to fill the newly-created post of finance director.

The body, which looks at investing £100m of lottery funding and public money to create British sporting champions, has created the role in response to its growing responsibilities leading up to London's Olympic games in 2012.

Finance was previously under the remit of UK Sport's director of corporate services, however it has been split out creating the new post.

The body was established by Royal Charter in 1996.
