NAO governance to be overhauled after Bourn scandal

Lord Chancellor says that legislative changes may be implemented to improve governance at the NAO, in light of the Sir John Bourn scandal

Written by David Jetuah

Jack Straw told MPs that legislative time would be made available to enact any changes in the statute books covering the NAO to improve governance recommended by the Public Accounts Commission in the light of the controversy surrounding Bourn's expenses.
