PwC global figures up by 10%

Tax and advisory work drives growth in global revenue

Global accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers said global revenue rose 10.5% in fiscal 2007 to $25.2bn, helped by growth in its tax and advisory businesses.

Accounting for fluctuations in currencies, global revenue grew at 14.4 percent, Reuters.com reported.

Revenue from the global advisory service line rose 14.6% in the year to $5.7bn and tax revenue increased by 15.1% to $6.3 billion, boosted by growth from merger and acquisitions-related activities.
