Firm to hold networking event for associates to build ties as prospects of forensic and restructuring work grow

Big Four firm KPMG is to court associates in law firms, building up contacts as prospects for forensic and restructuring work grow, The Lawyer reported.

According to the magazine, the firm has invited associates to its first-ever associates' networking night at Tower Bridge next Thursday night (20 September) as it seeks to develop closer links with law firms ahead of an expected rise in forensic and restructuring work.

A KPMG spokesperson said: 'We want to build our ties with the legal community, not just with the top level of partners, but all levels. Associates are an important part of the legal community that we want to reach. So many events focus on partners, we want to get closer to the associates as well.'
