PwC sells ChoicesUK distribution arm

PwC sells distribution arm of ChoicesUK, but still seeks a buyer for its stores

The wholesale and mail order arm of DVD, music and games distributor ChoicesUK has been sold by adminstrators from PricewaterhouseCoopers, after two weeks in administration.

The arm has been sold to Findel, which made the acquisition on behalf of associate company Webb Group.

Nick Cropper, Colin Haig, Mike Jervis and Stephen Oldfield continue to pursue a sale of its 139 UK stores.

'Our next task is to sell the retail business of ChoicesUK,' said joint administrator Cropper. 'We have spoken with a number of interested parties and our priority now is to work hard to achieve a sale of the business as soon as is possible.'
