UK accountants up to par on working week

UK ranks 13th out of the 17 countries polled

A new global survey has revealed that finance professionals in the UK work just 18 minutes less than the global average, putting in 42.1 hours per week.

The survey by specialist financial recruitment firm Robert Half found that the global average for accountants was 42.4 hours per week.

Overall the UK ranked 13th out of the 17 countries polled in terms of the average number of hours worked per week.
