Four years after it collapsed, the bankruptcy of Italian dairy giant Parmalat, has seen its founder Calisto Tanzi and former chief financial officer Fausto Tonna charged in connection with the massive fraud at the company
Parma judge Domenico Truppa charged Tanzi and Tonna, along with 21 other people with fraudulent bankruptcy and criminal association.
One of the key issues has been around which people connected to the company helped hide the true state of its finances.
Parmalat was restructured after its £9.4bn collapse.
