Hartnett invites questions from advisers for podcasts

Taxman reaches out to the profession, seeking questions from advisers that will be answered in Dave Hartnett's next series of podcasts

The taxman is inviting questions from tax advisers to be put to Dave Hartnett, the director general of HM Revenue & Customs.

The body, which recently told Accountancy Age it wanted to connect with 'high-street advisers', says it will answer questions in its next series of podcasts.

Advisers should send questions to Jonathan Kinsella at jonathan.kinsella@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk.

'The launch of podcasts have demonstrated there's a real appetite for the chance to hear directly from some of the UK's most senior tax practitioners,' says Anne Shevas, acting director of communications & marketing at HMRC.

'Working Together is an ongoing discussion between business and HMRC. The next set of podcasts aim to be more interactive, so agents can ask about emerging issues - and hear straight from the top,' she said.
