Ogilvy FD joins board of marketing consulting group

First time group has appointed a financial director to its board

Written by AccountancyAge.com

Andrew Reeves, group commercial and financial director at advertising group Ogilvy, has been appointed to the board of the Marketing Communication Consultants Association (MCCA), the first time it has appointed an FD to its board.

The appointment of Reeves is part of the MCCA’s aim of evolving the role of finance as a key component within the marketing sector.

The MCCA said it recognised that marketing has become more accountable for services provided, demanding greater budget transparency. It added that this has led to an increased commercial role within financing.

MCCA chairman Graham Kemp said: ‘MCCA aims to continuously and accurately reflect our member agencies while leveraging enhanced industry performance. Andrew fits the bill. We welcome his expertise.’
