Version One eases client concerns

Version One director Tony Bray has promised that the recent acquisition of the document management specialist by Cedar Open Accounts will not affect resellers or clients

Written by Nicholas Neveling

‘It is business as usual at Version One. We have had offers every year for the last seven years but went with Cedar because we know them and trust that they will take the company forward,’ Bray said.

Cedar refused to disclose the sum it had paid for the acquisition, its seventh in four years.

The deal will see Cedar’s customer base increase to 3,000.

Cedar has appointed Richard Fisher as Version One’s new general manager, but Bray will stay on for a transition period.
