Deloitte man named as MCA vice-president

New president and vice presidents named

Nick Owen, head of market and service programmes at Deloitte, has been named as one of the three new vice presidents at the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) to work alongside new president Andrew Crowley.

Crowley, vice president of financial Services at consulting group CSC, has taken over this annual position from Alan Russell, director of LogicaCMG's consulting unit.
Commenting on his role at the MCA, Andrew Crowley said: ‘I am delighted to be elected President of the Management Consultancies Association. With demand for consulting high, and the consulting industry contributing over £8bn to the UK economy, the industry is demonstrating that through greater transparency and a better understanding of the value delivered by consulting firms, it is continuing to grow year on year.’

The other VPs are Paul Winter, chief executive, Corpra and Hugo Were a partner at Accenture.
