Accenture among winners in DWP contract

A group of companies including consulting group Accenture, EDS and Xerox have won a seven year printing contract worth £400m with the Department for Work and Pensions.

The contract is due to start on 1 June this year with the transition and transformation of services planned to be phased over two years.

It includes an option to extend the deal another three years.

Xerox is the prime contractor of the iON group, which includes Accenture, CEVA Logistics, EDS, Remploy, The Stationery Office and TNT.
