Written by Nicholas Neveling

Hargreaves Services , the largest importer of Carbon Minerals in the UK, has brought in Version One to introduce 'paperless office' technology at the company.

It is anticipated that the new technology will significantly improve cashflow and purchasing efficiency be tightly integrated with Hargreaves' Sage Line 500 accounting package.

Hargreaves processes 9000 purchase orders, sales invoices, statements and remittances on a monthly. Version One's desktop design and electronic document delivery will eliminate 'paper chasing'.

'These systems have greater functionality and are far more robust and adaptable than any other document management solutions we had looked at. They are also proven to tightly integrate into Sage platforms,' said Marcus Spence, project accountant from Hargreaves Services plc.
