Sir Digby Jones, the former director general of the CBI, has defended himself over his association with iSoft and the alleged accounting irregularities there.
Sir Digby was a NED at iSoft for five years.
In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Jones said: ‘There is a limit to what a non-executive can know. They have to rely on what advisers tell them and what the executive team tells them. It is important that people understand this.’
iSoft is being investigated by both the Financial Services Authority and the AIDB.
