Forensic accountants from Quest expected to carry on looking into football transfers
Forensic accountants are expected to continue probing football transfers
after the release of Lord Stevens’ report into whether there is a bung culture
in the game.
The report, to be released today at 4.30pm, is expected to outline
recommended changes to the football transfer system and detail 60 transfers that
require further investigation.
His firm, Quest, could continue undertaking forensic work if he suggests that
more investigation is required. Ten forensic professionals have worked on the
inquiry since it began in March.
