CODA has launched CODA-Control Manager, a tool to make the period-end close process faster for SAP users.

CODA CEO Jeremy Roche said that much of the close process was undertaken outside of accounting systems in finance departments, and the tool would help business close faster and more controlled.

'Month-end close in virtually all organisations involves the finance department completing thousands of manual tasks – chasing other departments and subsidiaries for information, checking and adjusting data, making decisions around areas like credit control and bad debt provisions, posting journals and so on,' said Roche.
