Course to bridge gap from CA to FD

New one year programme launched at Oxford

Written by AccountancyAge.com

With many accountants going on to become finance directors and chief executives of listed or large companies, the Said business school at Oxford University is now offering a course to bridge the gap.

The Diploma in Financial Strategy programme is for accountants wanting to develop senior management skills and also gives them credits for the school’s executive MBA degree.

The first participants enrolled in the one year programme this month.

It aims to compliment existing qualifications gained from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
