'The improvement network' is a result of eight months' work from Cipfa, the Audit Commission, the Employers' Organisation for local government and the Improvement and Development Agency.

The site is primarily aimed at senior and middle managers in councils in England and will give access to troubleshooting tips, case studies, workshop formats, good practice, self-assessment checklists, performance indicators and hot topics.

We have brought out information together an shaped it into a format that will make the journey from problem to solution easy and fast for our users.'
