CIMA chiefs take merger message worldwide

CIMA members will meet over the next three months at locations ranging from the Holiday Inn, Haydock, to the heat of Kuala Lumpur to hear about the body's merger plans.

Roland Kaye, president, and Charles Tilley, chief executive, will rack up the air miles addressing members and students in Johannesburg, Colombo, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dublin, as well as eight UK locations.

The management accountants are in talks over possible consolidation, the preferred term for the merger, with the ICAEW and CIPFA.

'This is your opportunity to find out more about these discussions, the consultation process, and timetable,' CIMA told its members in a statement.

Sessions will include a question and answer session and the feedback will be gathered using questionnaires.
