Begbies extends services to indebted individuals

Corporate recovery firm Begbies Traynor will now offer services to individuals struggling to manage personal debts after acquiring a personal insolvency practice.

Begbies has bought personal insolvency practice W3. Based in Chorley, but with a UK-wide client base, W3 offers specialist debt management solutions to people with debts ranging from £15,000 to £250,000.

Rick Traynor, senior partner at the firm, described the acquisition as a 'perfect fit'.

He added: 'The UK is currently facing a credit time bomb, with personal debt levels reaching an all-time high. Corporate business failure is often inextricably linked to personal financial difficulties and we are now able to offer a complete service across the UK.'
