RSM Robson Rhodes partners, Simon Bower and Mike Oldham, were appointed administrators to Margaux Fashions Limited, owner of Paragon, the young ladies and teen fashion retailer.

Margaux Fashions, which was formed ten years ago, entered administration on 22 January 2003. When it was first began operating, it supplied retail traders, but subsequently it began selling merchandise through 21 in-store concessions, before finally opening ten of its own stores nationwide.

Simon Bower said: 'Margaux's difficulties can be attributed to a slow year and particularly poor Christmas which affected their target market of 13 - 29 year olds. We will continue to operate the viable outlets whilst a buyer is sought.
