Tax experts to investigate future of e-filing

Representatives from the Inland Revenue, Sage, Accountancy Age, accounting industry bodies and accounting practices will be taking part in a round table discussion next week looking at improving electronic tax submissions.

Written by AccountancyAge.com

The round table, which will investigate how all parties can ensure the success of electronic filing through closer collaboration, will take place at Sage Expo in Birmingham, the annual channel event held by software company Sage for the last 7 years and attended by more than 1,400 resellers.

This year the event, which takes place on 12 November at the International Conference Centre in the city, is opening its doors to UK accountants for the first time.
