Having merged with Robson Rhodes, Grant Thornton has put some distance between itself and rival BDO Stoy Hayward to emerge as the biggest of the pack that's chasing the Big Four. The UK firm has more than 25,000 individual and 15,000 corporate and institutional clients and, perhaps most significantly, in the last year has secured its first FTSE 250 audits of recent times.
