Paul Staples joins Deloitte as partner in its corporate finance advisory business
DELOITTE has recruited the former head of UK corporate finance at BNP Paribas as a partner in its corporate finance advisory business.
Paul Staples, who was also a senior managing director in the European investment banking division of BNP Paribas, will bolster the firm’s M&A capability with FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, Deloitte said.
“His outstanding track record in the European TMT sector will enhance our expertise in this active sector,” said Paul Lupton, head of advisory at Deloitte.
Staples completed his accountancy training at Touche Ross in 1990, and has since acted as adviser to many leading UK businesses.
