Rowleys acquires Kemp Taylor as part of expansion programme
LEICESTER-BASED firm Rowleys has completed the acquisition of Kemp Taylor, also based in the east Midlands city.
The move is part of Rowleys’ expansion plan in the area, having moved into larger offices in Harcourt Way, Meridian Business Park at the end of 2013.
Sister companies independent financial advisers Rowley Turton; insurance brokers Allbright Bishop Rowley; and Rowleys IT Services, trading as Signature Digital, an app developer, are also based in Leicester.
Managing director Robert Radford said: “We’re delighted that Kemp Taylor have joined Rowleys. This acquisition will not only bring additional specialism in the ‘not for profit’ sector but also strengthen our audit and accounts team.”
Director Guy Newbury said: “The time had come for Kemp Taylor to look at their future strategy, so that we can offer a much broader range of services to our clients, whilst at the same time retaining that friendly local approach. Rowleys values are a perfect match to our own and clients will benefit greatly from this move.”
