A REFORESTATION BUSINESS has chosen Grant Thornton to run its audit.
Americapital, listed in the UK but based in Ecuador, has replaced its current auditor Affinity Associates with the ‘Top Five’ firm.
The move has been made to allow for a “more seamless audit and ease of transfer of information” for a more timely filing of financial information.
Americapital is seeking a dual listing on another exchange within the next fiscal period, and “specifically sought out” the firm, which has helped other businesses attain similar listings.
Grant Thornton announced yesterday that its new CEO will be Sacha Romanovitch, taking over from Scott Barnes in June 2015.
